The blog has gotten a little dull. Ah well, that’s going to happen from time to time.
Yesterday & Tuesday were doctor appointment days. Yesterday I followed up with the GI doc. He’s very pleasant, and definitely is looking to help. Believe me, I appreciate that.
Very little to report on the whole thing. Next week I have an ultrasound, and then start of October I’m having another endoscopy. As long as they knock me out, I’ll be good.
So, basically I’m in something of a holding pattern. That’s ok. Not much to do. Some people are gasping at that statement, after all, I’m in Florida.
Well folks, it has been raining here every day off and on. When it clears, it only does so to announce the arrival of the next rain storm. I lived here a little more than a decade ago, and I cannot recall this much rain. Sure, I remember the 3:00 p.m. rain storm every day during the summer, but those only lasted 15-20 minutes. Then cleared out and sunny again. Since I’ve arrived here we’ve had rain upon rain.
I have driven down to Ft. Desoto Beach again. Pretty spot, and it looks good for kite flying. But I couldn’t stay long as I had to get to an appointment. If I ever hear we’re going to have a truly clear day I’ll try going there for some kite flying.
Well, that’s about all for this morning. Off to run some laundry. Oooh, the excitement of full timing!
