Yesterday very little “bloggable” stuff happened.  So, I didn’t blog.  :)  We had an interesting storm for the afternoon, and a little rain fell.  Today while playing in the rocks, the evidence of the rain remained behind.

My morning was spent doing laundry, taking a few calls, and still debating on contracts and their locations.  I’ve still got a little time, and I’m really working hard to remain in the place that I’ve come to enjoy so much.  Worst case scenario, the contract I’m seriously entertaining has offered 2 weeks here, 2 weeks at their lab location.  So, interesting possibilities.  We’ll see what comes of it.

This afternoon everyone wanted to take one more tour into the Granite Dells.  I know, how many times can I go in there?  As many as it takes!  :)

Eleanor, Emma, & Rich walked out into the Dells to meet up with me.  After lunch I’d decided to take a stroll out, sit and enjoy the breeze, and watch over the lake.  An hour after I headed out I got a call from them, and came back toward Point of Rocks Campground to meet up with them.

We took a nice 2 hour round about walk.  We stopped often, many photos were taken, and it was a relaxing stroll (with some boulder scrambles of course).

As we made our way back from the lake, and to our biggest rock scramble upward, Eleanor let out a shout.  A sizable snake was in her path.  Rich got a photo of it, and I’m sure it will be on his blog later today.  Red, Yellow, Black…..  think it’s on of the poisonous ones…not sure.  For more information on it, check their blog to see the photo.

After the snake encounter we made our way back on to one of the higher rock ridges.  Plenty of video was shot, and I’ll start assembling a new podcast of my friend’s time in Prescott soon.  Maybe it will be available tomorrow.  Just need to see how industrious I feel tonight.

Upon our return to the campground we got a real treat.  A well taken care of 65 VW bus.  Wonderful!  Take a look…..
