No, the Airstream isn’t getting super funky by any stretch of the imagination. But this morning I’ve opened up everything, cranked the Fantastic Fan vents, and we’ve achieved wind tunnel here.
So, why do that? I think it’s something like opening up all the windows back home in New Hampshire after a long winter. Air it all out. Enjoy the warmer temperatures (back in NH). Here in AZ I’m enjoying the cooler morning temperatures. So, this “airing out” works in reverse.
After the extreme heat passes it’s nice to not run the Air conditioner.
While we’ve got everything opened up here I figure the heavy cleaning will get done. Scrub the shower down, hunt for my Black Widow (yes, there’s one hanging out on my towel rack), mop the floors again, etc. The Airstream is always tidy, but when you break out the heavy cleaners this place can choke you. 25 x 8. 200 square feet. Yeah, cleaners will choke you right out of here! Eeeeek!
Once things are heavily cleaned I’ll head on out of here. A few things to do today. And tonight we’ll be doing a little more climbing (hey Brooke & Andy). We’ll be updating today’s climb on the new Climb AZ site, and here as well. More detail on the climbs will go over there.
Finally, I thought I’d update something fun. I’ve been using Dreamstime for a few weeks now (that’s the stock photo site I’m listing my photos at now). From my Sedona Trip this weekend I submitted several shots to the site, and so far every shot submitted has been approved. Normally Dreamstime would take 2 or 3 out of 10 submissions. Today every submission has made it! I think I’ve worked out what they’re looking for, and when I’m shooting now I keep in mind whether or not “this photo” should be sent to them.
Want to check out Dreamstime again? Want to license one of my photos there (or even get exclusive rights to one)? Click the badge below to head to the site.
Oh, and by the way, you can sign up with Dreamstime too. If you’ve got some photos that you think would go over well, give it a try. Signing up there is free, and the site is pretty easy to use. What have you got to loose? And if you sign up, let me know, I’d love to see your favorite shots too.

Congrats on all the photo love! You have a great eye, and wonderful technique (plus, you’re pretty smart) I didn’t think it would take you too long to figure out how to master the stock photo sites.
Wheee…isn’t it nice to have a sparkly clean home?! Any chance you want to pop over and give mine a once over? Without the bleach of course, cause’ that just makes my lungs burn in the worst way…cause’ you could come on down and pick up the house key at the shop you know
