For well over a week my furnace hasn’t kicked on. I wrote about that yesterday. You probably recall that.
Well, after writing I tinkered with the thermostat some more. No results. But I did leave it set to the on position. And when I returned last night I found the heater running. That’s right, running well at that! Hmmmm.
What fixed it? I don’t know. Maybe it was the fact I wrote about it, and the need to fix it. Or maybe it’s just a flaky themrostat.

Actually, the thermostat is probably like a haircut…I don’t know how many times I’ve said, “that’s it! I’m getting a haircut…I can’t stand it anymore, my hair looks horrible…” and after I call to make an appointment, my hair is darned near perfect…but, as soon as you cancel an appointment? Whatever it is, will most certainly act up again…so, you’d still better call the repairman…because sure as shootin’ the thermostat is biding it’s time…
