Over the past week I’ve seen a lot of people getting the latest cold / flu. People working around me have had it. And I’ve been trying my hardest to avoid direct contact…..
No hand shaking, no touching, and please don’t sneeze on me!
Last night my throat was a little sore. This morning it’s a lot sore. I’m a little clogged too.
I’m taking my daily vitamin C. Just had some moments ago. Lots of grape juice too. As much water as I can get. Doing all the right stuff.
This trip will not be interrupted. I’m telling myself that I will not get this cold! I will not!
2 more days gang! And there will be no cold!

Ooooh that sucks. A friend of mine swears by this stuff when they start feeling crappy. Personally; I’m a big fan of nyquil. No it doesn’t actually make you feel any better, but the chemically induced near-coma makes it all seem better for a while.
No no no…you’re fine.
Just fine…
This is the just the pre-trip stuffy nose tease…
(I’ve been upping my C as well, and other homeopathic goodies too…)
Airborne… Oh, and find a good Jewish/Kosher deli for some chicken noodle soup!
Handwashing…. lots of it!!!!
i too have been trying to avoid “the cold”. saturday i spent time in the company of two quite sick individuals. began feeling the sore throat by evening. a remedy i have used for years that helps stave it off has been a tea made from hot water, fresh lemon juice, honey and a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. it makes the throat sweat off the bacteria which cause the infection.
had some saturday night and again on sunday. throat feels better and chest is lightening up.
i shall cross my fingers for you! SoCal weather is calling for much sunshine this weekend!
