Gadget’s Airstream Chronicles

Hmmmm….almost sounds like a line from Mad Max. 

Gunny pushed out yesterday morning, and he will be missed.  Great to see him, and sad to see him go.

But shortly after Gunny disappeared out of site with his Airstream an new trailer was on scene.  Bert & Janie gave a knock on my door close to 6 p.m.  I thought it was Sadira at first, as she was popping by at 6.  So, I opened the door and Bert & Janie were standing in front of me!  Wow!  Haven’t seen them since Nov of 06′.  Been a while.

We got chatting about camera stuff almost immediately.  I had photos on my mind as I’m re-reading Scott Kelby’s Lightroom book.  So much I’ve learned, but half the functions still haven’t stuck in my mind.  One more pass through should do it!

Shortly after Bert & Janie popped by Sadira pulled in.  We immediately headed up to check out the 28 foot Airstream.  It’s got a slide out, so there’s a ton of extra room in their trailer.  Wow!  I forgot how much room their trailer really has.

While Sadira got to know Janie, Bert & I walked up into the Dells for a few photos.  I think Bert enjoyed the walk out into the Dells.  I know I did (I always do).

I’m sorry to say I’ll be heading into work shortly.  My friends will be on their own today, but I’ve left them some information on things to see in town.  Bert will be doing an article on the area, and I think he’ll have a lot more to see than he thinks!

Cross your fingers, I’m trying to get some time off so I can give them the “Grand Tour”.
