As I’ve watched the sky the past few days I’ve become a little worried.  The clouds build in, the skies look amazing, and nothing happens……..  the storms seem to blow off.

Sure, last week I told you about some amazing storms.  Monsoon season is here.  But as I’ve been watching the past few days I can’t help but think it’s a weak monsoon season.  It really is!

Last year at this time I was outside Colorado Springs trying to get in with a government contracted company.  I missed the monsoons altogether.  But from the day I left Prescott to the day I returned all it did was rain.

Not so much this year.

I wondered last year about missing the monsoons.  Literally, the day I left Prescott it started pouring, and according to reports from friends it didn’t stop until the day I returned.  Inverse rainmaker here???

If I planned a short trip out of town for a day or two, think it would start raining?  Hmmmmmm……..?

  1. Beautiful sunset, Gadget!

I would bet that riding out a monsoon in your airstream would be interesting…probably kinda noisy from the way folks describe the rain. What’s it like?

  2. Wellll…it would appear that the weather may have something to do with you…but, I think this might actually be a justification for a vacation. If that is indeed the case…I would love to come (hint hint…I mean, I AM renewing my passport) ;)
