Photowalk: Two posts in one day

Yeah, pretty unusual to have 2 posts in one day here. I wanted to make a separate post about this event so that it stands out.
Scott Kelby’s site listed an interesting concept the other day. He’s presented the idea of a “Worldwide photo walk” that will take place on August 23rd of 2008! I like the idea, I like it a lot! So, why not pick up on it and make some plans?
So, I’m officially throwing my hat into the photo walk concept for August 23rd. There’s plenty to see and shoot in Prescott, AZ. Why not spend the day with other folks wanting to capture “Everybody’s Hometown?” Sounds good to me!
I’ll be checking on Scott Kelby’s site to see how I can officially sign up for the photo walk, and how I can list Prescott as an event site. For all my friends and readers in Prescott, care to join me on the 23rd??? 
Oh, and sorry for re-using a photo from the prior post. Couldn’t resist you know, I’m liking the shot!

Even if you don’t get approved through Kelby’s deal, we should still hit up a photowalk. I’d love to meet some new photogs from the area.

Ohhhhh…I’m in too! I could use a day out taking photos again, especially with you and Tombo…fun fun fun! (well, and whomever else) I’m sure you’ll get in as the photo leader. Wait…do we all have to take pictures of the same things?
I am personally loving the picture of the St. Michaels with the stripey awning…the pattern of the stripes and the depth of the colors and detail of the pictures is KILLING me (Ok, maybe not killing…but I’m really loving it!)

Glad to have you along Troy! You’re both counted in. We’re heading for 10 fast! I’ve seen other cities boasting 50. Bet we could get there quickly!
As soon as I have further details I’ll be posting them. I’m thinking we’ll be meeting at Sharlot Hall, walk through downtown, Whiskey Row, the small alley ways, the square, and finally finish things up over at the Raven Cafe, or maybe another spot depending on numbers!
