A podcast?  On this site?  Really, this site hosts podcasts?

Well yes, we used to host podcasts here regularly (you can check the podcast category if you don’t believe me).  And finally, another podcast.  See, first you need something worth podcasting, and day to day stuff isn’t always super interesting.  Of course, you might want to learn about my dish washing style, how to make perfectly browned Tater Tots, or secrets to dicing potatoes perfectly……

This podcast includes stills and videos from Anza-Borrego and Palm Canyon.  Last week’s trip was wonderfully fun, and I’ve finally started sorting the video!

Hope you enjoy the 48th episode, and hope you’re happy to see the podcasts again too!

While traveling I created a ton of podcasts. I also created some fun climbing podcasts too. But the podcast well has been dry lately. That’ll be changing soon with the Borrego trip.

Now comes the question. What to shoot? More driving footage??? How about some hiking footage? Maybe just a tour of Anza-Borrego??? I don’t know, but I do know that I plan to create 3 more podcasts after the trip is over. That’ll get me to Podcast #50. I’ll get the footage while there, and then compile it once I return to Prescott.

So, now to the regular readers & viewers here.  If you could see only one podcast from the trip, what would you like to see?  Take a look through the poll below, and vote wisely.  The winner will be one of the three podcasts from the upcoming trip for sure!

For your Anza-Borrego trip, make this podcast…..

Ah, bet you thought I’d let the tech podcasts slide again.  Well, pretty close, but yesterday I realized that I had another one to do.

By realized I mean a friend called and asked if I was going to do something about adding movie to ITunes or not.  Since they were so polite about it (you know who you are) I went ahead and put up the next tech podcast.  :)

Now, where is the latest tutorial?  Over at the Digital RV Podcast of course!  By the way, if you’re an ITunes user you can just pop over to ITunes and subscribe (do a search on Digital RV).  Then ITunes takes care of grabbing the latest file.

Next week I’ll pop another up on ripping CD’s, and specifically working with audio books copied from CD (it is sometimes a small hassle, but not horrible).

Some fun music, fun scenes, and so many friendly people.  My biggest question about this festival…..???

Why weren’t you here???  :)

So, the good folks over at Podpress have issued two more updates since my update to Podpress version 7.9.  Took a look last night, and saw we’re up to 8.1.  Figured I’d roll the dice and upgrade to 8.1.

And VOILA!  The ITunes downloads are working again.  Hooray I say!!!

If you’re ever looking to do your own podcast site, I still highly reccomend using Wordpress & Podpress.  And of course, if you have any questions, you can always leave a comment.  :)

Decided to compile some favorite stills yesterday and create a few slide shows.  And yup, an episode was born.  Also, this episode features 3 pieces from Heavy Mellow.  Be sure to check them out, and maybe even buy an album or two (they’re good you know).

Hopefully the podcasting issues with ITunes have been resolved.  If not, you can still view the podcasts at http://www.hikenbike.net/wordpress

Ok, adding yet another climbing video. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Andy, Brooke, & I went out to revisit the Perfect Idiot last week. And Andy worked it out. I’ve still got one spot to figure out, but getting there.

Enjoy the video!

Hmmmm….some flakey issues with podpress, but I’m working on it!

Several days ago we took another climb in the Granite Dells.  Yes, Bob is gone, but Andy is still here!

We did several climbs where Bob got me started back up again.  A 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7.  That’s what’s on today’s podcast.  We also moved after those climbs and headed over to “Perfect Idiot”.  That was the one that frustrated Bob and I a few weeks ago.  It frustrated Andy and I this go around too.

After the climbing, I’m definitely still spent.  Think I might have gotten ahead of myself on activities this week.  Whoops!

Well, enjoy the show!

Sorry for the delay in the latest podcast. But hey, it’s up now.

Today’s episode takes you to the Groom Creek and Wolf Creek area. Just a few minutes outside of the town of Prescott (all the fun stuff is only moments from the town). Several days ago I went in to investigate the area, and I was blow away by the variety of bouldering problems. Definitely another must visit for hiking, biking, horse riding, and climbing / bouldering!

Enjoy today’s episode all!

Not many podcasts lately.  Believe me, I have tons of material, but I’ve been working on a special project regarding Podcasting with Wordpress & Podpress.

My good friend’s Eleanor, Emma, & Rich showed up last Friday, and I’ve been busy showing them around, enjoying the rocks, and giving them a glimpse of what I like so much about Prescott.  Given they were supposed to head out last Sunday I’m guessing they like the area too.

This podcast includes some of the scenes we’ve all found so appealing here.  Hope you enjoy!
