I’ve been toying around with video editing the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much video to edit around here. Clip after clip of me in traffic. Somehow I think folks wouldn’t check in to see the Tampa traffic report every day….or would they? Hmmm.

Today’s podcast gives you a sneak peak into how future podcasts will be presented. I hope you enjoy them. I’ve never been a big video production guy, but I’m learning. That’s the fun with digital items folks, anybody can figure it out if you take a few minutes. The bigger part is knowing what you want to achieve, and having your questions ready as you start learning.

So, enjoy today’s podcast. And I hope you like the music. It’s by Bill Furner, and the tune is Acoustic Highway. You can learn more about Bill at MacJams.com, or at ITunes as well. I’ve gotten many of his tracks, and I’m really enjoying his music.

By the way, this might not properly download at ITunes. If it doesn’t, watch it here at http://www.hikenbike.net/wordpress

Making efforts today to get the ITunes downloads working again.  Cross your fingers.  :)

The last round of favorite photos from this year is now up in yet another slide show!  I’d been wanting to put these up for a while, and have finally had the time to get them together.  You might notice, the bulk of these shots are from Colorado.  Pretty place!
Now I’ll have to start taking new photos and do another collection in a few months!  ;)  Hope you enjoy this final round!

Today’s podcast is a slideshow of some favorite photos from the beginning of my travels this year.  From MA to CA, I’ve gotten some of the photos I enjoy together.  Hope you find the show fun.

Once again, the music is Podsafe music.  Check into the podsafe phenomena for yourself…

It’s been a while since I’d been in Creede, but I finally got around to assembling video and photos.  The area was gorgeous, and the company (the Rocky Mountain Vintage Airstream Club) was fun.

Creede has been one of the most beautiful spots I’ve visited.  If you’re in the area, it’s a must see.

I’ve spent a few days in the Gunnison area, gotten some pretty photos and nice video to boot. This town is well over 7500 feet in elevation, and it’s a nice place. If you’re big into off roading, ATVs, mountain biking, and big mountains, then you might want to pay the area a visit.

Episode 26 is a larger file this time. Higher quality video, loads right to your IPod, etc. This one went over 30MB. Sorry for the size, but you’ll enjoy the show!

Cliff dwellings, pretty views, and walking through ruins centuries old!

Episode 25 is another tour of an interesting area in Southwestern Colorado. Canyons of the Ancients National Monumemnt covers a larger area in this corner of Colorado. There are many ancient ruins sites available to view. This episode presents a small tour of Lowry, Painted Hand, Horseshoe & the Hackberry ruins.

The area shown is also very close to the Hovenweep National Monument. All of these sites, along with Mesa Verde are “must see” items if you travel to the area.

Following up on the last blog entry at Gadget’s Airstream Chronicles, here’s a video podcast of today’s trip to the Four Corners Monument.  Of course, dashboard cam got some time.  But there’s also a good deal of footage from stops along the way, and of the Four Corners Monument.  Hope you enjoy the tour.

Last night I was invited over to listen to my neighbors Tommy & Johnny do a recording.  They’re quite the players for sure!  So, while they were playing I recorded 2 of their “sessions”, and you can watch them here.

Tommy is on guitar, and Johnny is on the banjo.  Enjoy!
